After enrolling, you receive the class notes and video for Class 1.
Watch the video and complete the shamanic journey homework on your own time.
When you finish Class 1, you share your journeys, questions, and experiences with Scott by email — and he responds personally with the same instruction and guidance every live student receives.
You proceed through the remaining classes the same way, at whatever pace fits your life and lets you fully integrate each lesson.

Online Course Questions
What Is the Difference Between Self-Paced and Live Online?
The course material is identical in both. Live online courses meet at a scheduled day and time on Zoom. Self-paced courses let you view the instructional materials at any time you choose. In both, Scott interacts personally with every student.
Can I Mix and Match Self-Paced and Live Online Classes?
Yes. Many students attend a mixture throughout their training, to accommodate the demands of modern life. Even within the same course, you're welcome to attend some lessons live and others self-paced — and everyone who registers for a self-paced course is welcome to attend the next live online version of the same course at no additional charge.
Is Online Shamanism Training Effective?
Yes — and in some ways more so than in person. Shamanic work must be integrated within the context of daily life, which is why our upper-level courses are offered online only. Maintaining your practice amid the real demands on your time and energy is exactly what makes the training stick. Our introductory level is also available in person.
Do the Video Links Expire?
No. After you've registered, the videos you receive remain available for you to review indefinitely.
When I Study Online, Do I Still Have Contact With Scott?
Yes. Scott maintains regular email contact with all his students. If you study self-paced, he interacts with you by email to review your journeys, answer questions, and guide your progress. In live online courses, you also have live video interaction with Scott during each lesson.
