Combined with the inner mastery of Level 2, these methods open a depth of healing that Level 2 cannot reach on its own, whether you bring them to your own life or, in time, to others.

How the Course Is Structured
Level 3 is twelve classes, plus your model session and your private consultation. The model session and the consultation both fall between Class 11 and Class 12, so you complete your own healing session and personal review before the final class brings everything together.

Level 3 is often assumed to be only for future practitioners. It isn't. The healing methods you learn here, combined with the inner mastery of Level 2, make possible a depth of self-healing that Level 2 alone cannot reach. Many students take Level 3 purely for themselves.
This is a two-fold path, and it divides only at the very end. Through the whole of Level 3 you learn the same complete process. Only at the close do the paths part: some students step toward professional practice, others turn everything they have learned toward their own continued healing. Both are fully honored here.

About Your Teacher
Scott is an international shamanism teacher based on Kauai, Hawaii, with students on 6 continents and over 30 countries. A graduate of Duke University and former director of an international trade finance company, he left the corporate world to teach shamanism as a grounded, practical healing system.
His work integrates shamanic tradition with Taoist internal arts into one coherent method. In Level 3 he guides you personally, reviewing your model session and meeting with you one to one to advise your path forward.

Is Level 3 only for people who want to heal professionally?
No. This is the most important thing to understand about Level 3: it is for everyone. The healing methods you learn here, combined with the inner mastery of Level 2, open a depth of self-healing that Level 2 alone cannot reach. The path is two-fold and divides only at the very end, where some students move toward professional practice and others apply everything to their own continued healing.
Do I need to complete Levels 1 and 2 first?
Yes. Shamanic Self Mastery (Level 2) is the prerequisite, which in turn builds on Fundamentals (Level 1). Level 3 weaves the traditional healing arts together with the inner mastery you developed in Level 2, so that foundation is essential.
How is the course structured?
Level 3 is twelve classes, plus a model session and a private one-to-one consultation with Scott. Both the model session and the consultation fall between Class 11 and Class 12, so you complete your own healing session and personal review before the final class. You also watch Scott guide a complete model session, then perform your own for his review.

Is this part of the apprenticeship?
Yes. Advanced Shamanic Healing is Level 3 of the 4-level Shamanic Apprenticeship. Completing it, along with Cultivating the Energy Body, leads to your certificate as a Shamanic Spiritual Healer, should you choose the professional path.
