Teachings Gathered From the Living World
Cover art: Pele, Hawaiian Goddess of the Volcano, by Steve Davis
The Web of Life is alive with the spirits of animals, trees, rocks and insects. It is alive with the vibrations of mountains, canyons, streams and oceans. For thousands of years, human beings gathered their wisdom directly from the land, and when they fell out of balance, they asked the natural world itself how to find their way back.
Voices of the Earth is a collection of teachings I received that way, recorded in my journals over the course of ten years. I sought them as a path of healing, as a means to find alignment and wholeness for myself. It is a path I still walk when I go into those magic, wild lands, call out to the spirits, and hear answers.
Each teaching in this book is short, and each one carries the name of the one who gave it. You can read it through, or you can let it fall open and receive whatever is waiting there for you.
See the beauty in all things.

Available as an ebook, delivered to your inbox, or as a softcover printed on one hundred percent recycled paper.
This book is dedicated to everyone who has supported me along the journey, and to Spider, the weaver of the web.
The printer and the print process were chosen to create the smallest environmental footprint possible, on one hundred percent post consumer recycled paper. It seemed the least we could do for a book made of teachings the earth gave us.
If these teachings speak to you, you may also want to sit with us in the Web of Life Journey Circle, where we gather each month to journey for the healing of places that need our care.
