On Integrity, the Shadow, and How to Find a Healer You Can Trust
I joined Leilani Mañulu on The Intuitive Catalyst podcast for a wide-ranging and refreshingly honest conversation about the parts of the spiritual path that often go unspoken. As Leilani put it, this one is not all love and light. We went into the shadow, into what integrity actually requires, and into how to recognize the healers and teachers who do not have your best interests at heart.
We talked about how my teaching path unfolded, one unexpected student at a time, and about a moment early on that showed me the real power of this work, when a single shifted agreement dissolved a craving someone had carried for twenty years. We explored why intuitive guidance from benevolent spirits will never belittle you, how to develop your own direct language with the spirit world rather than depending on an intermediary, and why the ability to create space, in your life and around you, matters so much.
And we spent real time on discernment: how to tell whether a teacher is working in the light or looking to exploit your vulnerabilities, why hierarchy is a warning sign, and why, even when someone else behaves badly, the answer is never to take on their poison and hand it back.
